Primary energy consumption by fuel

Primary energy consumption is defined as gross inland energy consumption minus the energy consumed for purposes other then producing useful energy (non-energy use). Gross inland energy consumption represents the quantity of energy necessary to satisfy the inland consumption of a country. The indicator trcks the trend in primary energy consumption by fuel.
