Environmental protection expenditure of industry by type

Environmental protection expenditure is the money spent on all purposeful activities directly aimed at the prevention, reduction and elimination of pollution or any other degradation of the environment. It includes environmental investments and environmental current expenditure. Industry includes mining and quarrying, manufacturing and electricity, gas and water supply sectors (NACE Rev.2 Sections B, C, D and Division 36).
