Aid activities targeting Global Environmental Objectives: Biodiversity

Policy markers exist to monitor external development finance for environmental purposes within the OECD/DAC. In particular, the Biodiversity marker is made up of a scoring system, tracking development assistance targeted to the environment or the Rio Conventions as a “principal" objective or a “significant" objective, or as not targeting the objective.
